🔥 Meat and Bread
- Halal bengali/latin fusion joint with some of my all-time fav dishes

- What’s Good: Hot Honey Fried Chicken, Korma Tostada, Chimi Fries Chicken Parm
🇹🇭 Top Thai
- Hands down the best Thai spot I’ve had in the US
- Grab their Mon-Fri Lunch specials for just $12
- 55 carmine location has the best vibes and aesthetic
- What’s good: Basil Udon with Chicken, Beef Pad See Ew, Tom Kha Chicken soup, Premium Appetizer with Curry Puffs and Mocktails
🐮 Holy Cow
- Grubby halal late-night spot, perfect after a night out with friends
- Opens late till 11PM most days and 12AM some days
- They use Van Leeuwen Ice Cream for their milkshakes!
- What’s good: Chopped cheese, Holy Burger, Chicken tendies, Sauces
☕ Kolkata Chai Cafe
- Community-driven chai spot run by 2 Bengali brothers
- Check out their launch day with 700 people!
- During the pandemic, they started selling DIY chai packets and now you can make their tasty chai at home too!
- What’s good: Chai Soft Serve, Masala Chai, Egg Paratha
🌮 Birria LES
- Late-night halal taco spot with bomb birria tacos and a bunch of other halal Mexican street food
- Open till 11PM most nights. Fri and Sat open till 4AM!
- What’s good: Beef Birria Cheese Tacos, Esquite, Birria Mulitas
🇲🇦 Pause Cafe
- Halal Moroccan cafe serving breakfast, paninis, acai bowls, baked goods, coffee, tea, and smoothies
- A bit on the pricier side but has a great ambiance and is awesome to work remotely from or chill with friends
- What’s good: New York Combo, Moroccan Mint Tea, Shakshuka

🍔 BURGER MANIA
- Grubby late-night halal smash burger joint near Times Square
- Seating isn’t great so it’s better for takeout
- What’s good: Atomic Burger, Big Boy Burger, Voodoo Jerk Fries
🥙 Au Za’atar
- 2 Locations: Midtown East and also East Village
- Their coffee is brewed in sand and tastes incredible
- What’s good: Tableside shawarma, Mixed grill platter supreme, Lebanese sand coffee
🥘 Farida Central Asian Cuisine & Grill
- Cozy eatery with uzbek/russian eats
- Ask about their Russian sodas!
- What’s good: Uzbek plov, Meat samsa, Umka puffs, Kazakh chai
🍜 Urban Hawker
- Brand new Singaporean hawker center with 14 stalls (many use halal meat)
- Come early around 11am to make sure you the popular food items. They tend to sell out early and seating can be tough.
- What’s good: Mamak’s Corner, Ashes Bunnit, Padi d’NYC (all halal)
🌶️ Adel’s Famous Foods
- One of the best halal carts in NYC!
- It’s right by the OG Halal Guys and is way worth the wait.
- If you get more than 4 lines of hot sauce you’re a psychopath
- What’s good: Chicken Plate with Spice Rice + Fries
🥩 212 Steakhouse
- Partially-halal upscale dining experience to take your date 👀
- The only restaurant on the East Coast to serve authentic halal Japanese Kobe Beef!
- Let them know you’re muslim so they give the halal menu!
- What’s good: Halal wagyu t-bone, Halal wagyu Ribeye 28oz
